Who We Are

A small nonprofit that partners with Metro Nashville Parks and others who work to promote, support, and enhance a system of greenways in Nashville and Davidson County.

What We Do

As a non-profit organization, Greenways for Nashville works to promote, support, and enhance a system of greenways in Nashville and Davidson County. OUR WORK Greenways for Nashville supports the initiatives of the Metro Parks Department and the Greenways and Open Space Commission by leveraging public and private funds for future greenways, trail enhancements, and preserving land. We advocate for the preservation and protection of natural and cultural areas, the development of community recreational spaces, and the acquisition of land for preservation as greenways and parks. As a conservation organization, we are committed to doing our part to ensure equitable access to all members of the community so that they may safely experience an inviting network of greenways for health, recreation, and enjoyment. In addition to fundraising, we educate citizens about Nashville’s greenways and opportunities for community involvement in the planning process.
